Dear Burger King & Mary J. Blige,

New Music Video: Mary J. Blige Ft. Drake – “Mr. Wrong”

(Mary J Blige)

Wow, a lot of new music videos this week, I didn’t even know people watched them anymore LOL. Anyway Mary J Blige is back with the video for her latest single, which isn’t doing too hot on the charts, considering it’s featuring Drake. Come to think of it their other collabs didn’t do so hot either.

Throwback Thursday: Aerosmith – “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing

I know Cody posted a rock song for Throwback Tuesday, but this song has a special meaning which is why I chose it. We’re going back to 1998 for this song from the Armageddon soundtrack, and was surprisingly their only #1 single. Anybody that knows a lot about me knows that I am not a very emotional person, but this song is the only song that has made me cry as an adult. We are almost six years to the day, November 05, since my grandmother passed away. The day after she passed, I went to the grocery store and this song came on the radio and listening to the lyrics just made me get pretty emotional. So now when I hear the song it makes me think of her.

Who Sang It Better: “Titanium”

(Nothing But The Beat Cover)

A few weeks back I posted a new song by Mary J Blige called “Titanium,” produced by David Guetta. When the tracklist for Nothing But The Beat, the song was listed as being performed by Sia, who was Christina Aguliera’s vocal coach on The Voice, she also wrote the song. Since the Mary J. Blige version of the hit the web we can compare and contrast!

Throwback Thursday! Mary J. Blige Classics

Alright so by the time you read this I will have watched Mary J Blige’s Behind the Music, and I’m sure watching it would have brought me some memories of some of Mary’s classic bangers. So much so that instead of the one song, or even a double play, I had to do a Mary J triple play! So enjoy some of these #classic Mary!

New Music: Mary J. Blige – “Titanium” (Produced By: David Guetta)

Mary J Blige

New music has leaked from the “Queen of Hip Hop  Soul,” Mary J. Blige, and this is definitely a different sound than we’ve ever heard from her. She teams up with David Guetta who has been changing the music game over the past two years  with his infusing Hip Hop, R&B, & Pop with Dance/Electro music. Mary J has changed her sound up for this track, what do you think about it? Wednesday night I posted the official tracklist for Guetta’s “Nothing But The Beat,” and it had an artist by the name of Sia listed so it looks like this version didn’t make the cut for the album.

Song of the Week: Monica ft. Rick Ross & Lil Kim – “Anything (To Find You)”

My baby is back with some new music! This is a leak (possibly from her new album New Life). It’s produced by Missy Elliott and features Rick Ross and Lil Kim, there’s also a Notorious B.I.G. sample and a shout out to Mary J at the beginning of the track! Monica also sent a tweet out today that might give some insight to her next move!
