At 9:00 am Eastern time, Ryan Seacrest announced the lineup for the 2012 iHeart Music Fest which will be taking place September 21st & 22nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The lineup, while not as stacked as last year, still features a who’s who of the music industry.
David Guetta is back with the latest video from his worldwide smash album Nothing But the Beat. This song, “I Can Only Imagine,” features Hip Hop heavyweight Lil Wayne & R&B/Pop superstar Chris Brown, and was my second favorite song on the album, after the Usher assisted “Without You.” There is a lot going on in this dope video! Guetta is good at coming up with interesting music video concepts.
If you recall, earlier this week Lil Wayne was denied access to Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, because the Thunder “just didn’t have the seats available.” That reason is the official explanation from the team, Jean offered up another reason — the Thunder’s own James Harden may have had him banned. Those are two possible reasons, but leave it to Wayne to really clear the air.
“That’s not the point, though [various players have come forward to offer him tickets],” Wayne told The Associated Press in an interview Friday night. “It’s the players stepping up but of course the players aren’t white. I don’t want to be sitting there on behalf of you and I’m sitting next to a (person) that’s like ‘I don’t want this (guy) sitting next to me.’ (Forget) you … I’m in Forbes,” he said, laughing.

New Music Video: DJ Khaled – “Take It To The Head” (Ft. Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, & Lil Wayne)
DJ Khaled is back with the video for his latest anthem, and first single off his, Kiss the Ring, album “Take it to the Head,” which features the usual cast of characters; Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne. Drake, Baby, and Busta Rhymes also make cameos in the video.
Drake must have been in music video mode on this first night of Passover, the video starts with footage of his Bar Mitzvah, then says that he recommitted to his Jewish faith on October 24th of last year, and apparently the video is of the celebration, not sure how Lil Wayne fits in, but lets find out together. DJ Khaled, Trey Songz, Birdman,
Tyga, dropped the video for his latest single, “Faded,” (ft. Lil Wayne), from his earlier in the week from his album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King. All you YMCMB fans may want to check it out!
