Well, so much for my dream, Deron Williams the first major domino of the 2012 NBA free agency period has decided to re-sign with the New Jersey Brooklyn Nets.
Williams made the announcement on his official Facebook page. Posting a picture of the Nets logo, with a caption “Made a very tough decision today…….” I’m sure ESPN will be all over this in the next few moments. Keep it locked! So much for my wish of him going to Dallas, but it makes sense as Williams, while a top 5 and my personal favorite point guard in the league doesn’t have that marketable personality so he couldn’t leave the money on the table. At least in my opinion, now more than ever Orlando needs to send Dwight Howard, to the Lakers.
