[REPORT] According To A Source Dwight Howard STILL Wants Out Of Orlando, Wants To Start New Chapter Of Career

According to a source, even though the Orlando Magic fired head coach Stan Van Gundy, or relieved him of his duties which they called it, and mutually decided to part ways with GM Otis Smith, Dwight Howard STILL wants out of Orlando.

The source, who is close to Dwight, tells SheridanHoops.com

On the day coach Stan Van Gandy and general manager Otis Smith lost their jobs with the Magic, a source who has spoken with Howard recently said the All-Star center desperately wants to be traded prior to the start of next season.

Howard wants out of Orlando more than he ever did before in order to start a new chapter of his career.

This is exactly what I feared would happen with them getting rid of Stan, he’s a good coach, and I honestly can’t see them getting someone better than him out there, that’s available. So now we have no head coach, and our star player still wants out, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the most important offseason in Orlando Magic history. What I would love to see happen, and would really warm my heart, is for Deron Williams to opt-out and sign with Dallas, then for Dwight to be traded to Brooklyn, that would be a dream come true. Either way I hope whoever the new GM is makes the right moves and keep us viable in the Eastern conference, which seems to be getting deeper and deeper. Looks like this is going to be another exhausting summer, but we will keep you posted with all the latest news!
