[AUDIO] Linkin Park Debuts New Song, Announces Album Release and Tour Dates

Monday was quite the busy day for Linkin Park. The band announced that their fifth studio album would be called Living Things and it will drop June 26, their first single off of this album will be “Burn It Down,” which hit radio also on Monday. Oh yeah, and they also said they’ll be co-headliners of the 2012 Honda Civic Tour, along with Incubus and MuteMath.

The album will give fans a ‘Great Representation’ of where the band is now. Lead singer Chester Bennington explains via MTV:

This album is a really great representation of where we’re at right now as a band. We’re kind of really comfortable with our early nü-metal days, and we’re really comfortable with where we’re at in our more contemporary version of ourselves; so this is a good representation of that comfort level with our own identity as a band.
