Lamar Odom’s Professional Career Continues To Spirlal Out of Control

The awkward relationship, between the Dallas Mavericks and troubled player Lamar Odom, looks like it has finally come to an end. The two sides decided to call it quits today.

The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team,” Odom said in a statement. “I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.

This is statement that Odom released, before leaving the team today. He won’t be released, he’ll just be labeled inactive for the rest of the season. There is also a possibility that he can be traded after the season, but with his attitude after being traded, and all the Kardashian reality stuff going on, I’m not sure what the market for him will be. Odom was one of the pieces that was thought to give Dallas a slight chance to make another run at an NBA Championship, but his 6.6 points per game and erratic behavior  didn’t really make much of an impact.
