Kris Humphries Named Most Disliked Player in the NBA

Apparently being Mr. Kardashian can garner you a lot of hate. Kris Humphies was named by Forbes, as the most disliked player in the NBA.

This is what Stephen Walker of Nielsen Sports (who helped run the survey) had to say:

“Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets seemed to be living life a bit over his head. Young, handsome and married to Kim Kardashian, Humphries’ mug was all over magazine covers and entertainment television. It’s a role usually reserved for an L.A. or New York star, not a New Jersey role player. Then recently, Humphries’ marriage to Kardashian was over – 72 days after it started. Then came the speculation: Was the marriage fake all along? Was Kim really caught in a nude Yoga session with a male instructor in their home? It’s all created enough tabloid fatigue for the public, when asked which player in the NBA they most dislike, now choose Humphries’ name before any other. ‘He’s been on five magazine covers, all in a negative light,’

Jeanius Thoughts:

Sounds like a bunch of hate to me, I can understand people thinking it’s weird that Humphries, who isn’t a star player, getting so much press. But whether you like it or not Kim Kardashian is one of the biggest pop culture “icons,” and I use that word extremely loosely, today. Between her 8 T.V. shows, clothing line, and numerous endorsements she’s grinding. So whoever she married, whether it be Humphries or Danilo Gallinari, who was rumored to be E!’s first choice for Kim’s love interest, would have gotten a lot of hate. I’m surprised that Lebron James was dethroned so quickly because of “the decisions.” he made (pun intended). Oh well, like I say “haters gunna hate”
