Throwback Tuesday – Taproot “Poem”

My Throwback Tuesday pick for this week is borderline on an ‘Instant Classic’ to a Throwback, but regardless I have picked Taproot’s “Poem” this week.

This song is easily Taproot’s most famous song, always playing it last at any concert. I saw Taproot earlier this year in concert at a small club and they performed very well. It was one of those performances that makes you like the band even more. This song is featured on the Welcome album, which has achieved gold status making it their highest selling record to date. The band is currently back in the studio recording their next album.

Lead singer Stephen Richards

“Poem” was the fifth most played rock song in 2002.

Take a few minutes to listen to this week’s rock throwback and let us know what you think!
