Checking in on Amber Rose, who Debuts New Commercial

Amber Rose for Smirnoff

If it never felt this good for Amber Rose, then it has to be good. The ex-girlfriend of Kanye West has a new commercial out for Smirnoff’s Whipped Cream & Fluffed Marshmellow Flavored Vodka. The commercial debuted Saturday night during Masters of the Mix on BET, which features Rose as a guest judge.

Rose is currently working on her singing career, she says she is in the studio every night working on “fun, house, and club” music. Rose also tells BET that she is inspired by the likes of Fergie, Missy Elliott, and Pitbull. She adds, “I may drop a song soon and just put it out there so you can see what it’s like.” Other projects for Rose include a role in the movie, Gang of Roses 2, as well as working on a line of furs, leather and wool coats.

Whether or not Rose can shed the title of “Kanye’s Ex-Girlfriend” remains to be seen, she hinted on her recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show that Kanye may have hooked up with Kim Kardashian when the two broke up. She also goes on to say that her and Reggie Bush were an item when he and Kim broke up. This just begs the question, Who hasn’t been with Kim K? But I digress.

It’s going to be hard to get people to leave the top-tier Vodka’s such as Diddy’s Ciroc and Grey Goose, but you can’t fault Smirnoff for bringing in the model/actress/singer. I don’t see many guys liking this drink, but it should be a big hit with the ladies. As Vodka is my liquor of choice, it’s a drink I’ll try just to say I’ve tried, but I don’t expect it to move me away from my favorite, Ciroc.
